gaskets and an installation depth of 74 mm was to create a cost-effective

Statics: large-scale planning

Particular attention was paid to profile stability when developing the S 8000 system. The main chambers for the steel stiffening element were therefore made corresponding large.

The result is very high flexural rigidity of the standard stiffening elements, which in turn benefits the profile stability. This opens the door for the construction of large elements, and also allows window manufacturers to meet specific demands for large windows.

  • The maximum height of the window elements is determined by the window width and the resulting overall surface area.
  • When windows are large, the window elements are subject to high forces.
  • Stable steel stiffening elements ensure high flexural rigidity and allow the construction of large windows.

Colouring in the S 8000 system

The coloured acrylic layer is twice as hard as the PVC surface of white windows. It is highly scratch-resistant and is largely resistant to the effects of weather. The semi-matt, smooth and non-porous GEALAN-acrylcolor® surface is insensitive to accumulations of dust and dirt. There is no spalling or chipping and no need for laborious repainting. GEALAN-acrylcolor® windows require virtually no maintenance and are extremely easy to care for.
ACRYLCOLOR – CONFIRMED QUALITY
GEALAN boasts over 35 years of experience in the coextrusion of colored profiles in acrylcolor. This innovative technique differs substantially from other coloring processes on the market. During the coextrusion process, the acrylic glass layer is indivisibly joined to the PVC profile. To this we owe the durability and inalterability of the color over time.
HIGH REFLECTION
The white layer beneath the infrared permeable acrylic glass layer reflects most of the solar radiation. The result is a very low overheating of the profiles. The temperature differences between white and colored profiles are therefore surprisingly small.

The windows of the S 9000 system and the aluminum folders combine the advantages of PVC and aluminum. Functionality combined with a modern look and design of aluminum that give a touch of exclusivity to the elements while maintaining the extraordinary insulation values of PVC windows. The windows with aluminum folder are not only resistant and long lasting, but also offer the possibility to realize any color project.
CHARMING DECORATION AND SOLID COLOR FILMS
For your windows you can choose between fascinating wood-effect or solid-color films: filmed externally and internally in classic white or filmed on both sides for a particularly refined effect. You can choose from a vast assortment of decorations and colors the one that best suits you and your home.
