Combinations in the S 9000 system

GEALAN-FUTURA®
The passive house-compatible window, now also in colour
GEALAN-FUTURA® is the single profile combination in the S 9000 system. It offers the option of building passive house-compatible window elements, including in colour, in accordance with the ift directive WA-15/2 using standard profiles and standard 2 mm steel stiffening elements. The certified Uf value of 0.89 W/(m²K) confirms the outstanding basic heat insulation properties. Maximum sash dimensions of up to 2.40 m are possible with GEALAN-FUTURA® when using STV® bonding technology.
S 9000 plus
System with rigid central gasket
S 9000 is the new GEALAN central gasket system with a stable bar in the window frame. The central gasket bar effectively protects the mechanical parts in the window from external factors. Central gasket systems stand out for their excellent insulation qualities.
Outstanding break-in resistance
Even the standard version of the S 9000 system is one of the safest options around. But the S 9000 system’s new central domed gasket makes the burglar’s job much harder. Most break-ins start with the window being levered out: the intruder slides a screwdriver between the frame and sash. The sturdy new dome is an effective barrier against this.
Perfect for large colour elements
Its outstanding static properties make S 9000 plus ideally suited for building large elements with GEALAN-acrylcolor®-surface finishing. GEALAN’s STV® bonding technology means that S 9000 plus windows can be further upgraded for stability and safety of use.
GEALAN-LUMAXX®
Optimised geometries
During development of GEALAN-LUMAXX®, the entire frame geometry was optimised while the profile widths were compressed to a minimum. The designers paid special attention to achieving a balanced relationship between insulating properties and statics, as well as a perfect interplay of components. The symmetrical effect of the narrow single mullion also adds to the flexibility of use in window construction.
Visibly less frame
A direct comparison proves it: The new GEALAN-LUMAXX® is significantly narrower than previous frame combinations. In the past, mullion designs often required a width of up to 150 mm and above. Heavy, unattractive bars ruined the window outline and let far less light into the room. Slim sightlines can finally be achieved with the new system, without forgoing ease-of-use and security.
No compromise
Despite the focus on narrow sightlines, the new sash/mullion profile doesn’t compromise when it comes to statics. Both use a particular steel which, due to its static properties, allows for elements of up to 2.30 m in white and 2.20 m in colour. In combination with STV® bonding technology, element sizes up to 2.50 m in white and 2.40 m in colour are possible.

Optimised heat insulation

Developing a system with the best heat insulation properties does not happen by accident, but rather as a result of focused development work. Our success proves us right. Numerous calculations have produced outstanding heat insulation values. Right from the beginning, the goal of development was to achieve a heat insulation value of Uf – 0.92 W/m²K for the standard combination with steel, making the system suitable for use in passive houses. This was accomplished through the sum of the innovative system design details.

Colouring in the S 9000 system

The coloured acrylic layer is twice as hard as the PVC surface of white windows. It is highly scratch-resistant and is largely resistant to the effects of weather. The semi-matt, smooth and non-porous GEALAN-acrylcolor® surface is insensitive to accumulations of dust and dirt. There is no spalling or chipping and no need for laborious repainting. GEALAN-acrylcolor® windows require virtually no maintenance and are extremely easy to care for.

GEALAN-acrylcolor® standard colours
Unique colored surface
The acrylcolor surface is twice as hard as the PVC surface of white windows. It is scratch and weather resistant. The smooth, shiny and silky surface is dustproof and dirt resistant. It does not flake or peel and it does not need to be repainted. The acrylcolor windows are easy to clean and require virtually no maintenance.
RealWood – exclusive wood decor foil
Illusory real
For all those who want a natural look, without giving up the advantages of the most modern technique, the choice falls on PVC windows with wood-effect decorations. Whether for new constructions or for renovations of old buildings, GEALAN wood-effect windows surprise you with their aesthetics and functionality. They adapt to classic elements in renovations and integrate perfectly into any landscape. The windows with wood-effect decorations have all the positive characteristics of modern PVC windows and, at the same time, the timeless charm of the wood effect.
Color variants in aluminum
The windows of the S 9000 system and the aluminum folders combine the advantages of PVC and aluminum. Functionality combined with a modern look and design of aluminum that give a touch of exclusivity to the elements while maintaining the extraordinary insulation values of PVC windows. The windows with aluminum folder are not only resistant and long lasting, but also offer the possibility to realize any color project.
